Indigo Iris in a field

Why Indigo Iris?

Indigo Iris reflects our belief that every person has a distinctive pattern of strengths, needs and possibilities.

Indigo is associated with depth, insight, perception and individuality. Sitting between blue and violet, it suggests something that does not fit neatly into conventional categories, reflecting our interest in understanding differences in thinking, development, and ability.

The iris brings complementary meanings. It is associated with wisdom, hope and courage; the flower also represents diversity and individual growth. In Greek mythology, Iris was the messenger of the rainbow, linking different places and perspectives.

Together, Indigo Iris represents what we aim to offer: looking beyond labels and surface impressions to understand each person’s unique profile, recognise their strengths, better understand barriers to learning or working, and support informed decisions with greater confidence.
